Champions League 2026/27 Schedule & UK Kick-Off Times

The Champions League 2026/27 opens with a 36-club league phase — eight matchdays between September 2026 and late January 2027, every club facing eight different opponents in one combined table. The top eight go straight to the last 16; clubs finishing 9th to 24th meet in a two-legged knockout play-off. From there it's two legs per round until the one-off final on Saturday 5 June 2027.

How the schedule shapes your fantasy picks

  • League phase (GW1–GW8): every club plays once per matchday, so your whole squad is live — captain a player facing a weaker opponent at home.
  • Knockout play-off (GW9–GW10): the top eight sit these rounds out. Check which of your players actually have a fixture before the deadline.
  • Two-legged rounds: a separate deadline per leg means you can react to a first-leg thrashing instead of being stuck with it.
  • Quarter-finals onward: only eight clubs left. Use your remaining transfers to consolidate around the sides most likely to go deep.
